What a beautiful day!

I say that every day now. We’ve had several in a row, but I think I will go on saying how wonderful they are every time we have them.

Other things I’m grateful for:
Green Mini’s, like the one I’m parked behind now…

This one belongs to a Covenant Alum, and I’ve actually driven it, if only for two blocks!

On the bright side (can life get any better than being parked behind a green mini?) I’m in Greyfriar’s attempting to do a sociology project, yet no one is coming in the doors. So, that’s on standby for now. I guess I will do other homework until we get some activity down here. (Trey, I tried to find you before I left.)

Well, I’ve been thinking recently that although being a mean, bitter and sarcastic person certainly has its benefits, it is much better not to be someone like that! First off, being such a dry individual adds a layer of protection to your armor. You can pretend not to love, not to care, not to live, and that’s all good. Your the tough bulwark of stone and iron, unshaken and unmoved. And yet… you miss so much. Better to go through life taking the full force of all cuts and blows than to deceive yourself into thinking that you are unaffected by them. Better to understand how frail you are so that you will rely fully on Jesus the Christ. He knows that we are but dust, and he will take care of us. Yet let us not presume that we don’t need Him or that we can sustain ourselves even for one moment.

Aside: I thought I would rename my blog Word of Wisdom & Insight, then have the sub-heading read: What?! Still looking?
