Forget it, it’s history!
I’ve arbitrarily decided that this month is the national My History Month. Now, by month, I don’t mean an actual month, such as July. I mean, arbitrarily, a period of time which I determine to last until I deem the time is ripe for it to stop being the national My History Month. Just to clarify.
In honor of such a momentous occasion, I have posted this memento from the 2001 Track & Field season. This picture cleverly leaves out the Field, but you will notice how prominent the Track is. In place of the Field are several prime picnic tables, an essential part of each Track meet.
Now, you Track people will quickly recognize in this killer team Olympic level athletes such as Mark Miller and Stewart Dunbar as well as the infamous Four Horsemen: Chase Wise, Ben Whitaker, Jay Gilchrist and Hunter Feagin. Remarkable.
I think the picture speaks for itself, so I will leave it be. I hope this wets your appetites for more as My History Month progresses!
